WHAT COULD LIFE BE WITHOUT FOOD????

THE FINEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE....

It is the simple things in life that we forget. The fact that we can not kiss our elbow makes us realize that some things in life are very close to us yet still beyond our reach. We tend to  forget how important it is to love, care and appreciate one another. Yes we are different but it is in our differences that we learn and grow from those around us. So often we forget to use four most important words in life.
1. Thank you.
2. Please
3. I am sorry
4. I love you.
We should make it  a habit to express our appreciation to those that act kindly toward us. This is a very important comment and nothing is more awesome than hearing thank you from someone. Saying please implies that something is not yours and you would like it to be. It is therefore important to be sincere and not expect people to do things for as if they owe us something. Acknowledging our faults and apologizing is one of the most hardest things to do.Yes it is not easy to apologize but it frees one from bearing an unnecessary burden. People don't normally hurt others intentionally and by them owning up for what they have done shows that they respect and value the relationship. No matter how long you have been with someone, telling them that you love them is very important. Telling someone that you love them is a confirmation of your feelings for them be it a friend, a family member of your better half. It is the simple things in life that we forget! I choose to remember these words in all that I do. The finest things in life are indeed free..

MY LIFE'S PARABLE.....FROM A LIFE OF A PENCIL...

A pencil maker told a pencil 5 important Lesson:

1. Everything you do will always leave a mark

2. You can always correct the mistakes that you have made.

3. Important is what is inside of you.

4. In life, you will undergo painful sharpening which will make you a better pencil.

5. To be the best pencil you can be, allow yourself to be held and guided by the "Hands" that "Hold" you      tightly and gentle ..... *unknown*

NOT FINISHING IS NOT AN OPTION....

A wise man once said, "When things go wrong, don't go with them". Yes life is hard and we are bound to get knocked down now and again but what we have to know is that when life has played its dirty tricks on us, it is important to remember that it is always too soon to quit and winners never quit. Michael Jordan's famous story to success: "I have missed 9000 shots in my career, I have lost 300 games, 26 times I have been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed, I have failed over and over again in my life and that is why I succeeded". It takes time and courage for one to succeed. All we need to do is keep the faith and believe that we have the strength to succeed in everything that we set our mind on.Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.

No matter how many times you have fallen and "failed" in life, keep moving forward. If you want to succeed in as much as you want to breath, you will make it happen. We do have the power to finish that which we have started. That dream can not just fade away. What we need to do is to work harder. Even if you don't see the light, keep holding on, there is light at the end of the tunnel. We need to finish what we have started! Welch's philosophy was that good business leaders create a vision, passionately own the vision and relentlessly drive it to completion.... Indeed, of all options available, not finishing is not an option!

Life is like this

Don't just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before successful. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are all in good order. There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of your breakup. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.

Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same is with life where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.

One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to get so worked up?

Its ok, bunk a few classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave from work, Enjoy with friends, fall in love, little fights with loved ones. We are people, not programmed devices.

Don't be serious, be sincere.
